K&S Aviation's experienced professionals have contributed to the training of foreign start-up carriers. K&S, due to their extensive international flight and certification experience, have the ability to adapt to a foreign carrier's training needs. Besides a staff that is multilingual, multinational, and has been trained and certified in many countries including Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal, and the United States, K&S Aviation provides a large fleet of simulator variants to accommodate a foreign carrier's requirements. Some of the simulators used are JAA approved, and others such as the B-737/300 have both analog and EFIS capabilities.
Systems ground school is typically taught at the K&S Phoenix, Arizona location. Other locations will include facilities/classroom rental, as applicable. Additional student training materials are available (K&S box of training materials, color panels, exterior inspection (walk-around) CD). Additional desired items will be assessed on an individual basis.
Note: K&S can help develop a Basic Indoctrination Training program but training will likely be accomplished by the specific operator. We can develop (or assist in developing) other programs including General Subjects, Emergency Training, Hazardous Materials Training, and CRM, as well as accomplish or arrange for such training. K&S will teach the specific airplane's systems-related subjects, if required (general description, engines, major components, other systems, and deicing/anti-icing procedures). K&S will teach the other Aircraft Subjects if required by the specific operator (e.g., severe weather, thunderstorms, ground icing procedures, etc.). Applicable materials to accomplish this training would be required from the operator.
For all flight (simulator) training, K&S uses the following simulators:
