Using unique special techniques and training regimens, K & S has helped not only many pilots achieve their training goals, but contributed to the new flight procedures of a very popular airline in the Southwest. These techniques have become the cornerstone of K & S' curriculum, the philosophy that only proper, applicable knowledge leads to safety, no short-cuts.

Student Testimonials
When I decided to further my aviation career by adding a 737 type rating to my certificate, I asked my fellow aviators which training facility they would recommend. K&S Aviation was the resounding majority. From the moment you enter K&S Aviation training center it is apparent that every staff member has a genuine desire to see that your training is positive, complete and of the highest quality. My current job position afforded me very limited time off which I thought would be too restrictive to undertake outside training for the type rating. Once I began talking with the staff at K&S Aviation regarding my schedule concerns, their exceptional flexibility and “we’ll make it work” attitude quieted my concerns. From the beginning to check ride, the training at K&S Aviation was professional, personal, flexible and thorough. Anyone looking for a training environment of the highest caliber, need look no further than K&S Aviation.

Dear K&S,
As luck would have it, I have been hired at Southwest. I am still awaiting a class date at SWA and can’t wait to get stared there. I received a call from SWA about a month after finishing my type and an interview about a month after that. A month after my interview I received a call from the connection at Southwest that you helped me establish. Thanks for your excellent program and especially for brining people in from SWA to talk to us hopefuls.

Thank you all so much! I am very happy that I chose to come to K and S!! The instructors were great! Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and working hard toward our success. Honestly, it was the best initial training experience I have ever had. Having the study time beforehand with all the materials made me feel well prepared and made the classroom time more useful.

I got the call on Wednesday from SWA offering me a job, which I of course accepted. You can never tell what brings your name to the top of the list to get an interview. The type rating certainly helped to demonstrate a commitment to SWA during the interviews. I am currently activated with the Air Force reserves, but having the type rating would also have allowed me to get into an earlier training class.
I am certainly glad I spent the time and money to get the type rating. It is well worth it to anyone who has SWA on the top of their employment list.

Dear K&S: Life has been pretty busy for me since I completed my type rating on 7/3/7 (what an appropriate date) but I had a few extra minutes and I wanted to send you a quick note of thanks. I really enjoyed my training at K&S and think that you run a terrific and very effective program. I feel very satisfied and proud of how much I learned in so short a period of time and really feel it is a credit to all of you and your cadre of incredible instructors. Thanks again and I will have no hesitation in recommending your program to anyone who asks. Sincerely,
O. S.
